Pair of "I Sodi di San Nicolò" 1985 in perfect condition in every respect

It is the symbolic wine of the Castellare di Castellina company, the perfect combination of Sangioveto (Sangiovese clone selected by the agronomist Attilio Scienza) and Malvasia Nera, in the great terroir of the Vigna San Niccolò, in the heart of Chianti Classico. He has won an incredible array of competitions and received countless awards. I Sodi di S. Niccolò is the Grand Cru of Castellare di Castellina, among the first historic Supertuscans made exclusively with native vines: 85% Sangioveto and 15% Malvasia Nera. The origin of the name comes from the word used by Tuscan farmers to describe those lands that had to be worked by hand, being too hard (Precisely firm) or too steep to allow the use of oxen. San Niccolò, however, is the name of the fourteenth-century church that stands on the Castellare property, around which some of the most suitable vineyards are found. On the label, the iconic bird, always present on Castellare red wines, symbol of the daily commitment to sustainable viticulture that the company has been carrying out for over 40 years.
