Sauternes Chateau d’Yquem Vertical Collection

Here, however, a super collector's item is offered.
Sauternes number 1-6 in full bottle from Yquem.
Originally, these bottles were made as blends of 3-4 vintages to get a non vintage sauternes that kept a stable high level.
Until 2019, these bottles could only be acquired by people at the chateau and friends of the house.
In 2020, 1000 boxes were thrown into the trade and this is 1 of them. Unbroken sealed box - pictures are from another box.

Number 1 - blend of 2010-2013 tapped in 2014
Number 2 - blend of 2010-2014 tapped in 2015
Number 3 - blend of 2011-2016 tapped in 2016
Number 4 - blend of 2011-2016 tapped in 2017
Number 5 - blend of 2014-2016 tapped in 2019
Number 6 - blend of 2014-2019 tapped in 2020.
I myself have only tasted number 5, but it was fantastic already - rounded, well-balanced and refined like a vintage Yquem.
