"Initiales BB" is Bernard-Bonin's entry-level wine, but it clearly bears the mark of the house's uncompromising approach to winemaking. Made from Chardonnay from plots near Meursault and vinified with the same care as their top cuvées. 2019 is a ripe and sunny vintage, and the wine shows juicy fruit, citrus, white flowers and a discreet touch of oak. The texture is creamy but supple, with chalky minerality and nice balance. A characterful and serious Burgundy that often surpasses its appellation level.
