Chateauneuf-du-Pape Les Trois Sources, Domaine de la Vielle Julienne 2010

/ #5644298
Size: 750 ml (Standard)
Red
Quantity: 12 bottles (price per item, sold together)

The domain was taken over in 1905 by the current owner, the Daumen family. Since 1990, Jean-Paul Daumen has been in charge of the legendary domain. He has from the beginning been convinced that organic and biodynamic cultivation methods would raise quality, and these are practiced today, without wanting to part with it. The wines must speak for themselves.

All the wines of the domain are considered to be at the top of their appellation. All grapes for the wines are hand-sorted, using natural yeast, small used casks and large foudres.

This wine comes mainly from vineyards with limestone and limed subsoil, and only 6,000 bottles have been made. It has a dark purple color with an elegant bouquet filled with black fruit and hints of minerals, garrigue and raspberries. Clean, complex, elegant and well-balanced wine.

Sold as my purchase batch of 6 bottles and the unit price is stated. Stored in cellar and wine refrigerator.
