Bodegas Aalto, Ribera del Duero 2015

All 4 bottles are in perfect condition and have been stored in the wine refrigerator from the date of purchase. The wine is ready to drink and is recommended to be drunk between Drinking 2018 - 2028.

The vintage has got a nice score of 93 WS.

Aalto has a nice, deep purple color and in the scent it offers intense and fresh fruit aromas with hints of dish. There is plenty of fullness, structure and elegance in the taste, which contains notes of licorice, dark berries, roasted coffee, spices and tobacco.

The grapes for Aalto come from 40-80 year old vines from rented fields around Ribera del Duero as well as from the vineyard's own fields with younger vines in Valladolid. Bodegas Aalto is harvested exclusively by hand, and the fruit is carefully selected before it is vinified.

It then stores for 16 months in a mixture of new and used oak barrels from both France and the USA.
