Stor vin fra Soldera årgang 2015

Opened from magnum with half decanted and half left in bottle. Stroke of luck to have had the 2013 and 2014 a week prior and then to be able to try the 2015 today.
From the onset, this was ethereal and elegant with heft and complexity. I want to avoid describing this as “Burgundian” and this was magic in any other right. Cranberries, bayberries, sandalwood and sage dominate the bouquet with palate showing off layers of unriped cherries, plums, sandalwood, saddle and smoke. Perfect fruit concentration and heft yet also showing such immaculate transparency. Tannins were firm but with all that going on the bouquet and palate, this was drinking really nicely today. This is why we chase Soldera.

Aperto da una magnum, metà decantato e metà lasciato in bottiglia. È stato un colpo di fortuna aver bevuto il 2013 e il 2014 una settimana prima e poter poi assaggiare il 2015 oggi.
Fin dall'inizio, questo vino si è rivelato etereo ed elegante, con corpo e complessità. Vorrei evitare di descriverlo come "borgognone", ma in realtà era magico sotto ogni altro aspetto. Mirtilli rossi, mirto, sandalo e salvia dominano il bouquet, mentre al palato si percepiscono strati di ciliegie acerbe, prugne, sandalo, note di sella e fumo. Concentrazione e corposità del frutto perfette, ma allo stesso tempo una trasparenza immacolata. I tannini erano decisi, ma con tutto ciò che si percepiva al bouquet e al palato, oggi si beveva davvero bene. Ecco perché inseguiamo Soldera .

Ouvert d'une bouteille magnum, la moitié ayant été décantée et l'autre moitié laissée en bouteille. Quelle chance d'avoir pu déguster les millésimes 2013 et 2014 une semaine auparavant et de pouvoir goûter le 2015 aujourd'hui !
Dès les premières gorgées, ce vin était d'une élégance et d'une ampleur exceptionnelles, tout en conservant une belle complexité. Je me refuse à le qualifier de « bourguignon », car il était tout simplement magique. Les arômes de canneberges, de myriques, de santal et de sauge dominent le bouquet, tandis qu'en bouche, on découvre des couches de cerises vertes, de prunes, de santal, de notes minérales et fumées. Une concentration et une ampleur fruitées parfaites, alliées à une transparence immaculée. Les tanins étaient fermes, mais compte tenu de la richesse du bouquet et du palais, ce vin était particulièrement agréable à déguster aujourd'hui. Voilà pourquoi nous recherchons tant les grands crus Soldera .
